Description
The VR-80 New-Style Short, Medium and Long Compensators do not require the old style locking rings buth rather they have allen screws on both sides that tighten to keep the compensator set right where you want it.
Please NOTE: the compensator comes with everything you need to install it. You do not need to order a separate locking ring.
- Version-1 Compensators
- Uses the compensator locking ring to tighten the short and long compensator in place.
- Long compensators uses a set screw to keep it in place.
- Version-2 Compensators
- Uses the compensator locking ring to tighten the short and long compensators in place.
- Both short and long compensators uses a clampdown style to keet them in place.
- Easy to install for competition
- Reduces muzzle rise when firing
- Long compensator has 2 vertical open portholes
- Short compensator has 1 vertical open porthole
Please Note: The unthreaded version of the medium compensator is designed for barrels that DO NOT have external threads on the muzzle. You may be able to put them on a VR80’s threaded muzzle but we do not know for sure or reccomend it! Use these unthreaded versions for the VR60 and VRBP-100 and other non-threaded muzzles.
There is also a Door Breacher muzzle break for home defense and Law Enforcement that is not directional in nature so it does not need to be timed in a specific direction.
